Peripheral interventions

Peripheral interventions'

Endovascular arterial interventions are minimally invasive operations on arterial vessels used to treat peripheral arteries. Modern methods are based on the use of innovative angiographic equipment, they open up new opportunities in the treatment of pathologies, especially in the presence of contraindications for open surgical interventions.

The main areas of endovascular arterial interventions are: angiography, stenting and balloon angioplasty of peripheral arteries.

Integra Medical offers a complete portfolio of products that allows us to help patients even in difficult situations of critical lower extremity ischemia:

Peripheral arterial stenting is a minimally invasive vascular manipulation that allows to eliminate atherosclerotic narrowing of blood vessels without an incision.

The TENTOS 4F stent is a self-expanding nitinol stent for the proximal popliteal and femoral arteries. The open-cell design of the stent provides high flexibility and good coverage of the vessel wall even in vessels with complex anatomy.

The Sinus-SuperFlex-635 stent is a self-expanding nitinol stent. It has a special micro-mesh design consisting of closed-cell segments at the distal and proximal ends of the stent with an open-cell segment between them. There are 4 tantalum markers at each end of the stent to improve radiopaque contrast.

The SuperFlex-518 stent is a self-expanding nitinol stent. It has an open-cell design that provides increased flexibility. The special working length of the delivery system of 180 cm provides additional options for puncturing the radial or brachial artery. The advantage is that you can switch to a transradial (TR) or transbrachial (TB) access point in case of complex vascular punctures in the pelvis and legs.

We would also like to talk about the new opportunities available in Ukraine - stent-graft stenting.

The Solaris Stent Graft is a flexible self-expanding endograft consisting of a thin, multi-directional, durable PTFE membrane that encapsulates a nitinol stent structure. The device was designed to effectively cover and instantly seal the affected tissue with a high multidirectional resistance force, providing endoluminal bypass surgery for physicians facing complex lesions. Its design ensures high flexibility without stealing the required length and balanced radial force.

Balloon angioplasty is a minimally invasive intravascular surgery that helps to restore vascular patency.

Angioplasty of peripheral vessels is performed with a balloon angioplasty catheter Viar (Ar Baltic).

The Viar Angioplasty Balloon Catheter is a low-profile balloon catheter that offers the best-in-class entry profile into the arterial lesion with the most clinically comprehensive offer in terms of size and indications.

One of the most advanced methods of treating critical lower extremity ischemia is the use of therapeutic coated balloons, specifically, Elutax in our portfolio. This type of angioplasty allows to postpone and in some cases avoid stenting.
